Prevention of gum reinfection at our clinic in Bilbao
At our dental clinic, we take care of every stage of our treatments. In cases of gingivitis or periodontitis, we pay special attention to check-ups to prevent reinfection after periodontal treatment.
Once periodontal treatment has been completed and an examination has confirmed that the infection has been cured, it is essential to monitor the health achieved through a preventive programme or treatment for gum reinfection, better known as periodontal maintenance. Its aim is to preserve gum health and, in particular, to prevent further periodontal infection.
